It's really almost offensive that we have to play such a poop small time team, but it's the first game of the year so every one will just be desperate to see football regardless.

Their website says their mascot is a "bison," but I think that is a typo or something because it's clearly a buffalo.  Oh well.

They are the bison. A bison is a half buffalo, half cow mix. At least that's my understanding.

Fun Fact: They used to be the Fighting Sioux but some of those politically correct types made them change.

This is wrong, It was the University of North Dakota who used to be the fighting sioux, not North Dakota State. It's a whole other university who specializes in hockey!!!

Yes, they are bison. The part about them ever being the Fighting Sioux is incorrect. It's an honest mistake, after all it is North Dakota...

I had a bison burger from So Long. that counts for something right?

i thought so as well after madness in manhattan a few years back when we had lights off for the beginning. Still no satisfaction until tonight. good times with the the lighter waving in the air.

first johnson, then gipson if he still needs more.

I agree that he should be getting every single one of DJamer's minutes, but I think the biggest reason JO isn't getting more playing time is his fouls.

I can't think of a time when DJamer was getting minutes for the sake of DJamer getting minutes. It's almost always because JO and Gip are in foul trouble already.

I mean in the foul trouble situation its either DJamer or Diaz. I'd pick DJamer and the stats seem to offer some validity there. With our availability of bigs I think its better safe than sorry and keep them on the bench with two fouls in the first half.

I am so glad we only had to suffer through 3 years of ron and got back LHCBS. We probably would have had to suffer through years of mediocrity with Gary Patterson. I mean, they only beat the squawks 20-6...

well of course we are on the same parallel if you curve the line like that. i could just curve the line up to ames and name it whatever i wanted. 

Maybe a dork like you can't understand maps, but I know at least one geography major that confirmed parallel's aren't even straight lines.

I did do the research the parallels are actually circles that go on the sphere and due to the curvature of the sphere the lines look curved.  In other news, we are both on the 39th although the minutes are different.

I have a bs in geography from ksu and this sounds made up talons

I am scheduled to grad with a BA in Geog. and everyone knows you are just BullShittin' and my theory is BadAss

(actually getting a BS, but my point stands)

Great job by LBG and Bigger Bro and all of the front row alliance on newspaper distribution. keep it up 

I think the athletic dept does this.  Currie is smart about pretending our student section is awesome.

Front rower here again, just to clear some things up. Usually  KSU Fan Experience (whom i happen to have friends in) takes care of the newspaper. I talked to my friend and he said they weren't supplying paper until the VTech game, So a few of my friends and I went around campus collecting newspaper from various sites including, the Union, Kramer, and the Derb. We then brought it in in transparent trashbags (to keep them dry, and allow security to check them, which they did). Then passed/put it out for fans to use.
