yeah, it got pretty repetitive after my initial review.

Beat Assassin's Creed 2.  Is the Brotherhood thing worth it?  Have enjoyed them so far.  I really like the historical detail, the decently sized maps and the story line is above average.  The gameplay is just button mashing enough for me and the objectives are not completely boring, but they do wear on you by the end.

Any other recommendo's for the summer?

I'm in this exact same position. I think Brotherhood furthers the story so at least before the next one I'll have to play it.

Those titles tend to drop in price pretty good though so I'd expect Brotherhood to drop soon from where its at.

Also, pre-ordered LA Noire a while back. I'm ready for a week of being "sick".

very interested in how LA Noire will play.  it's unlike any game Rockstar has ever been associated with and is not the sandbox style game that they are known for.  i'll pick it up next tuesday and am hoping for the best.

Pretty much my thoughts. It should be interesting. Also, the map size has been confirmed. 8 square miles with no highways. We'll see what it's like to drive from one place to another. RDR amazingly held my attention when going horse back across mexico. I'm sure LA Noire will be able to.

During a Q1 earnings call held yesterday, Activision confirmed that the next COD release will come with premium online features. That means buying the game will not be the end of your spending in order to experience all that COD has to offer in terms of multiplayer features.

Battlefield 3 looks fantastic.  Hopefully that will be able to live up to the hype.

ya it looks really really good.  i doubt it will live up to the hype.  i've not been a fan of the franchise in the past but there is an opening for them to get it right this time and take control of the FPS market.

I remember playing the online multiplayer demo of Battlefield 2 a lot in like 2006 or something.  That was pretty sweet.

(At least I think it was Battlefield 2.)
