I'm just now getting around to playing Mass Effect. About done with the first one. Totally about to bang the alien. Mass Effect 2 on deck. Hopefully get done in time for Mass Effect 3.

just started on mass effect last week - enjoying it so far.  i usually take the "wait until it hits platinum hits" to the extreme...

I recently bought "Fallout: New Vegas" after the KSU Cat spring game. Had my character look just like Bill Walker.

ME is one of my favorite series of all time, to be honest.

I'd say you should play the first 2, otherwise the 3rd won't make much sense.

Just finished ME1. Very very good. Love the story and setting. Look forward to playing ME2. Saul, have you done the DLC? Any of it necessary for story or character development? the ME1 DLC is pretty cheap, so I'll probably pick it up anyways.

The ME1 DLC is pretty much worthless. Once you get rolling on ME2 you won't give a hoot about ME1.  Pick up all of the DLC sans appearance/weapon packs for ME2 to add quite a bit to the game, most specifically Overlord (eh), Stolen Memory, and Lair of the Shadow broker.

Do you guys sell your games once you are done playing with them?  Where do you take them?  I have a whole bunch of old XBOX 360 games that I don't want/play anymore.  I am 35 minutes from Lawrence and about 40 from Topeka.

Beat Assassin's Creed 2.  Is the Brotherhood thing worth it?  Have enjoyed them so far.  I really like the historical detail, the decently sized maps and the story line is above average.  The gameplay is just button mashing enough for me and the objectives are not completely boring, but they do wear on you by the end.

Any other recommendo's for the summer?

I haven't played Brotherhood yet.  I think it focuses more on multiplayer? Not sure.

LA Noire comes out next week on the 17th - that is the "hot ticket" this summer.
