highly recommend buying a standing room only ticket and then moving to the section where the KSU band is supposed to be. did this 2 years ago and it was a blast. youll be on the goal line but youll be a few rows up surrounded by EMAW students and young alumni.

The Passing of the Boot - a drinking game centered around a glass boot filled with two litres of your favorite tap bier - remains one of the Hessen Haus' favorite traditions for groups to engage in. These are the "rules" should you choose to follow them:

The Boot travels around the table clockwise.
Drink without pointing the toe away from you ... and you drink again.
Fail to flick the Boot with your finger before passing it ... and you drink again.

You will likely hear some comments about the officials from the 1999 comeback game in Ames, particularly on the Allen punt return.
