If booing actually gets you calls, wouldn't you have to be pretty stupid not to boo constantly?

At kellys getting weird on the dance floor with my BROS. Anyways this couple wearing ISU gear tries to jump in and start dancing with the cool kids.

They lasted about 10 seconds before I stopped in the middle of the dance floor, pointed to their shirt, pointed to my shirt(emaw sweater over team angel shirt) and laughed at them for a solid minute.

They got the drift and backed off after about 10 secs. Haven't seen them since, I imagine the fired up the JOHN DEER and headed back to des Moines.

If a player on your team pulls out a gun and shoots the opposing player in the kneecaps, you boo the foul call. It's that simple.

ISU fans' penchant for booing is the only redeeming quality of ISU fans.

This.  ISU fans can't gas up the Celebrity, let alone afford tickets to a game.

Kansas State: Home of Big 12 football champs and professors that add omega-3s to beef to prevent health issues for obese Iowans who eat like crap.  Also, we can detect cancer using a blood test we invented.

Iowa: Home of disgusting

Replace Iowa with Kansas and you will understand what the rest of the country thinks about both states.

Disagree. I'm in Kansas right now and my trip has been very enjoyable.

There isn't any good BBQ in the entire state of Iowa, not even in Iowa City.

Congrats Purple kitties your stupid booing after every single call got into the refs head good job.

Quote
Just boo at the refs long enough and they'll start making ********* calls. Big 12 refs this year are just...bad. its like they're being paid because ESPN is pimping the KU KSU ranked matchup.

At the KU game earlier this year, bubbles and I had a fantastic exchange about this with an older lady sitting in the row below us.  We explained that booing every call that goes against you, good call or bad call, is to intimidate the refs in hopes of getting fewer calls against us later on, rather that actual disapproval of the call.  When you boo loudly and passionately it can be just enough to plant that little seed of self doubt in the officials mind.  Nobody really wants to get booed.  She got a pretty good chuckle out of that.

There isn't any good food in Iowa.  Its a wonder they manage to get morbidly obese.  I guess when all your food is tasteless, you might as well just shovel it down at a Golden Corral
