Mouse traps baited with snickers. I killed about 10-15 mice around my shed in a 1 month period using this method.

Picture a perfectly crisp spring morning. You take your steaming cup of coffee out to your back patio to let your amazingly beautiful dog run around....Some quick movement catches your EAGLE LIKE eyes.....ITS A MOUSE, just chilling in the flower bed lining your shed. You watch in amazement as it casually makes it early morning rounds. This guy has been here for a while and is slowly plotting how he can make his way into the nice warm comfort of your humble abode.

In a situation like that you have to grab the potential infestation by the horns using the tried and true method of Multiple traps baited with snickers.

I came home early yesterday to plug possible entry points. Found several. Plugged.

peanut butter. old fashioned snap traps and some glue traps too.

Peanut butter in traps is to mice catching as the rhythm method is to birth control.  Just get a snickers or milkyway.  One bar will completely irradicate the entire neighborhood's population of mice. 

Get the caramel side on the trap, and you don't even have to change bait.  Just shake off the dead mouse and put the trap back down.
