The beer reps reluctantly gave out samples of this, with lots of warning that you should probably only try a little bit. They did not expect any bar to sell it.

KCFDCat whats the word on the brewery?

We thought we had found a good spot but it fell through, so back on the hunt for a building to lease. Spent all day Thursday and Friday looking at buildings, hopefully one of them will work out.

The goal is to at least have a lease signed by the end of May and get started on reno in June, hopefully finish by August, get our system in September and be open by October... :crossfingers:

The name has been changed to double shift brewing© we're going to get going on Twitter, fb, and press stuff as soon as we have a building. My life is kind of insane right now as I'm renovating my house, getting married in 4 weeks and trying to get the brewery stuff done. Plus I have to go to my actual job.

Looking forward to having everyone over for a pak and meet some you bastards.

I'm just now seeing their stuff downtown and at martini corner. I feel like they came out of nowhere all of a sudden. Not bad beer. Very light and hoppy.

Kcbier makes good beer, I don't have much else to say about them...

Just found The Chive's KCCO Black Lager in stock at the local Kroger. Not bad, not bad at all.

Is this just a hipster, uneducated beer drinker thread, or might I present Duchesse de Bourgogne for consideration?
