the liquor store by my house put their samuel smith's winter welcome out a couple weeks ago...it was the 2010-2011 bottle.  :sdeek:  I asked the guy if they had this year's and he said "that's the stuff. we just got it out of the case."  I pointed out the date and the dust on the bottle and he was all "oh :embarrassed: "   :dubious:

Picked up some Anderson Valley - Winter Solstice today.  Anderson Valley didn't distribute to midwest last year so am kinda excited.  Was a winter fav a couple years back. :fistpump:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Man, how good is that one? I've had both the Tremens and the Nocturnum and enjoyed them. Never seen the Noel before.

If you can find it, pick up a couple bottles.  It's fantastic.

This was the first I had tried. I'll give it some time to grow on me

why do you say this? just curious. was really starting to lean towards crossroads...am worried about lack of foot traffic in WB, and taproom sales will be pretty important for the first few months.
