When do you guys drink your expensive ($10+) beers?  I want to drink my Bourbon Barrel Quad, but I don't want to just cash it on a random tuesday. Is that weird?

i usually enjoy the nice stuff more during the week.  then crush 30 packs of busch and cartons of reds on the weekends with the crew at limestone's condo

tobias and mocat, just two people doing the same crap at the exact same time, unbeknownst to each other

Zombie Monkey is very good. Best beer they've put out in a while and maybe my favorite from Tallgrass.

Welp.

Duvel also bought Ommegang awhile back. If you're going to sell out you could do worse. At least it's not InBev.

Good for him, started a company, grew it, was successful, then sold it for boat loads of cash to someone who could take it to the next level. Pretty much the American dream.

The fact that they buy good beer makers like goose island and turn them into shock top. If InBev buys your favorite craft brewer it's time to find a new favorite craft brewer.

so the quality of the beer declines after inbev takes over a smaller brewery?

yes, at least for the good brands they have purchased. they move production offsite and put a stop to most of the smaller batch craft and experimental brewing. even people who are fans of the large brands they have purchased have been upset.

Doesn't "inbev" sound like a cliche evil movie corporation?

Common for American Adjunct Lagers. If you take the tour they will tell you how special their rice is and all the amazing things it does for the beer.

Only the best rice for your Buds.
