Have you guys heard of blue moon. It is fantastic with an orange.

Incredibly elite recommendo here.  Finally somebody is actually talking premium brewski in this thread.  I've heard that there is some Mexican golden beer (cerveza?) that if you pair with some fresh cut lime is delish.  Will report back fellas. :clac:
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

Had this beer in Denver this past weekend. Incredible...

Have never heard of Oskar Blues Brewing before but this was very good.

Oskar blues is awesome. Renegade is a new Colorado brewer that is elite. Their rye-PA is very good. Funkwerks is one that is super popular in denver right now. Probably should of told you this stuff before your trip

One of the top 2 craft beer/booze/wine stores in Omaha has great food and you can buy a bottle of wine or beer and they will open it for you and take your order. You can work your way through a six pack over a burger. They also have about 40 wines by the glass. It essentially turns into a restaurant with a 1,000 bottle wine list and every beer that can be distributed to Omaha.

I was at a bar in Oakland that had boulevard tank 7 the other day! I kind of wanted a green flash but I was feeling nostalgic and went with the boulevard.

Did you know BLVD is the 19th largest US based brewer by volume? 12th biggest "craft" brewer.

Also learned doing a beer tour that the term "craft" is highly regulated by production figures because you are taxed a lot higher if you leave "craft" level production. Boston Beer will always be the largest "craft" brewer because they go exactly to the production point and quit. There are also a couple other levels below craft that have other regulations. Was pretty interesting.

there is a "meadery" right outside of Omaha. Is that more of a wine? has to be disgusting, right?

I've heard of that being kind of big w/ home brewers because it's easier than honey. I think honey is involved.

Did not realize Blvd. was so big. It was the first time I'd seen them out here. I looked it up and they only have smokestack series beers at places here. I was hoping I could get their Pale Ale when it gets warm. :frown:

There are also weird laws between states. Like Bell's wasn't in Illinois for a long time just because there was a beef w/ a politician or something at some point (what I heard). Founder's couldn't sell Dirty Bastard in Alabama for a while because the name was considered "obscene".

I saw something about some Mead home brewer kits at Williams and Sonoma or the like.  Definitely a honey booze.  Don't know much else

Feel pretty stupid for putting Batch 19 on a pedestal. It kinda sucks...
