I don't know if I've ever had a Spanish beer... I might be going to Spain in October (to the travel thread!)  so I'll have to give it a shot and see what it's like.

i've tried imported bottles.  it doesn't taste quite the same.  so i think i need an american brewer that produces the same type.


i can never remember which brand i liked best either.  i think it was one of the mahous, but they were mostly pretty similar.  i live in california.

these guys make almost exclusively European-style lagers. Pretty good. Just not sure if they distribute to California.

spanish beer is terrible.  in madrid cruzcampo is very popular and very gross.. people in seville drank the crap out of it too.

I had #5.  For some reason #6 never really showed up in north Texas.  I have a home brewer/borderline alcoholic friend that is obsessed with beer.  If I'm looking for something, I tell him to keep an eye out and he usually will see it and let me know where it is.
