Oktoberfest in Cincinatti was great. Any Untappd guys can see the majority I my experience. But I've been drinking too much to mark them all...

List of beers and what coherent thoughts I remember about them...

Erdinger Hefeweizen- first beer of the day, certainly not the best. Had to go to one of the tents that had the large take-home mugs. This was the closest.

Erdinger Oktoberfest- also okay. Lighter than most American "Oktoberfests"

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout -   Best one of the night.

Rivertown Brewing Lil SIPA - holy hoppy hell, batman.

Rivertown Brewing Pumpkin Ale - huge pumpkin flavor, not a bad thing in this case.

Rivertown Brewing Roebling (Imperial/Double porter) - delicious.

West Sixth Brewing Lemongrass American Wheat - not terrible, not all that memorable either(not many were by this point)

West Sixth Brewing Pay It Forward Cocoa Porter - this was one of my faves of the night. Yummy.

CHEERS!

there's also an Iowa beer called No Coast IPA by Peacetree Brewing. It's pretty good.

it's pretty hard to find a name for a beer that's not similar or identical to a name that's already been used at some point. Luckily, few craft brewers trademark beer names (except sam adams, blvd, etc...) so as long as you're not in the same geographical region, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

gE is tops at brainstorming. Input the beer characteristics and our collective intelligence will output the best possible name.

solid thought, but I already have designs made for 5/6 of them.  :frown:

I do need a good name for a dark rye, very malt forward but with a nice touch of hop at the end. ABV: 5.8% IBU: 34

spit out some good ones, gE.c beer naming machine!
