That is an amazing way to force townie places to keep fresh regular ipa available. It's brilliant marketing.

Miller Fortune is absolutely wretched. Closest analogue is Steel Reserve 211.

went to Jester King this weekend for the release of Fen Tao

Snorkel, Fen Tao & El Cedero on tap

La Vie en Rose

Killing some 2011 Project Bourbonic Plague in the parking lot

My loot from the trip.  I will be drinking JK for months

As of last night, only 300 of 1800 bottles of Fen Tao remain.  This will be the 1st release of Jester King that will sell out in one weekend (other than the 1st batch of La vie en Rose that was only 200 bottles) and i am pretty happy I was able to grab 6 (my wife and her friend muled for me).

I had basically everything that Revolution Brewing makes yesterday at their Brewpub.  Lots of good but not great beer. Untappd was starting to tell me I had a problem.

Date night last night. After the play, we went over to Bluegrass Brewing Company. I thoroughly enjoy cruising through a sample tray. Their fall brown ale is pretty good this year.
