You got me, I was quipping on the now-arcane meaning of porter. But, I was genuinely curious. You don't see a lot of folks change their tastes in such a way after a certain age. It's sort've like a guy who had always coveted brunettes acquiring a sudden taste for Blonds (or Weisse versa).
