AST - if you aren't on UNTAPPD already, you're missing out on a lot of badges with all of these new beers.

Does it have oyster flavors?
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

not so much oysters as just a thick briney flavor.  turned out being pretty nice.  there are some more oyster stouts out there i want to try now, just have to figure out how to get them.

AST, I'm curious:  What helped open the door to the world of beer for you? Was it a good porter?

i got tired of no one in my circle of friends wanting to sample scotches with me.  i decided i must try to find enjoyment in beers so as to have more to talk about with my buddies.

Prairie Bible Belt (american double/imperial stout) was what truly opened my eyes.  i've been steady samplin since then.

ast power beer rankings
1.  stout
2a.  berliner weisse
2b.  american sour farmhouse
3.  scotch heavy ale
4.  hefeweizen
5.  porter
