The fam took me to a brew fest at Snowbird today.  All the local breweries were there plus Deschutes and Sam Adams.  Unfortunately there wasn't really anything new from the locals and Deschutes had been hit hard before we got there and only had one left.  Still had a good time tho.

Tobias I am going to blue sky brewery today, anything worth trying?

are you riverfestPAK'n?!

food and beer are kinda average imo, no "go-to" (good for salina tho!)... I think they just released a hefe the other day if you're into that sorta thing

The pizza was better than the beer.   I had the flight and 3 of the 6 were undrinkable.  I can see this grabbing ahold of salina's balls like la casita once did though.

Wheat beer they make, also had the IPA, both good, SD probably has a more in-depth review of this place, burger was fantastic but very light on the fries FWIW.

Most are gross imo. It's just not a beer type that transfers well to low abv.

Need some help fellas. A new place just opened up close by and their selection is really great. However, the manager said he's got a few spaces he's left open and asked if there is anything in particular I'd like him to try to get in stock.

My question, obviously, is what should I ask for?! He left it wide open so I'd like to try to get some harder to find stuff if he has the right vendor and all. I know I'm going to suggest Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, but with the world as my oyster it's hard to narrow down other options!

I prefer darker lagers, stouts, and IPA's as well. Any suggestions welcome. I'm gonna look through this thread as well when I get some time and pick a couple out.

he won't be able to get stuff that isn't distributed to your area so just go to the fanciest and most well stocked boozery in your region and pick out the stuff that you like best that he doesn't carry. without knowing what you have access to in WV it would be hard to suggest stuff.

Thanks, SD. I figure that's probably the best route too. I just wasn't sure about some of the wonderful libations in this thread and if they're distributed nationally or just regionally. Admittedly, living in WV, even some nationally distributed stuff isn't available close by. Too much demand for Natty Light and Old Milwaukee I'd guess.

It's a rare treat here. Really miss it being so abundantly available when I was up in CT.
