Is Bell's Hopslam as good as the hype? Thinking about picking up a 6 pack

I got a call about mine being in today. I'll let you know.  It's pretty expensive though

Hi guys(and gals)

New to this thread, a quick question. I have been trying to get plank shipped over from Germany for awhile now. Is this an impossible task? I have enjoyed it while in the land of kraut and would dearly like to enjoy it once more so thank you for your consideration on this topic.

Yours Forever,

Kslim

Yeah Bier Station was charging $19 a 6pack. I just tell myself "Well it'd cost $3+ a beer at a bar anyways, and this is pretty limited"

My sister picked mine up at Lukas and she said it was $17.99.  Not terrible, but certainly the most expensive sixer I've ever seen.  No idea how many are left, but they begin selling to the public tomorrow morning if you get there early.

Had it last night at Beer Kitchen. They would certainly have more today if you just wanted to try one. Think it was $6? Pretty sauced by the time I left. I would say it was pretty good but certainly not as good as all the hype and trouble to get it. The hoppy finish lingers more than other strong IPAs was the most memorable part.

Great Divide's Orabelle is back in season for Belgian fans.  Absolutely loved it last year.

I would just say fugg it if I had to live gluten free. I'd go solid into hard liquor. GF beer is crap.

It's pretty delish. Was at a bar in Cedar Rapids and they had it on tap.  The douchebag bartender couldn't stop telling me the alcohol content and how "it will sneak up on you", though.   Bells makes good stuff.
