that is dirt cheap.

Would you believe me if I told you that I used to find it dirt cheaper than that?  Maybe not.  That's why I asked.

Hmm. Maybe I was just used to seeing it for $13/4 in MHK.  Is it always $8/4 here?  :surprised:

With this cold weather I have been enjoying some stouts lately.  One of my favs is Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro.  What are your favorite Stouts that I need to try?
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout. Thirsty Dog Rail Dog Smoked Ale.

I like the Nitro choice. Good stuff.

Anyone try Evil Twin Brewing yet? Picked up some Molotov Cocktail to try tomorrow. 13% ABV  :sdeek:

had a bottle last night.   pretty creamy for an IPA.

I can find it for $7 in Topeka.   But paid $9 at HyVee in KCMO.    :shakesfist:

I also like Pranqster from North Coast.   Didn't find Brother Thelonius worth the higher price though.

Had their Yin and Yang Black and Tan combo this weekend.  Hits pretty hard with 10% ABV but was pretty darn good.  The stout was good by itself, the IPA by itself wasn't doing it for me but certainly mixed well.  Going to try it again this week and see if i can get a better pour, they mixed right away on me.

Old Rasputin is a staple. Plus it's dirt cheap in KC

Having one now!  Pretty tasty. Not as sweet as the nitro but it's got an interesting finish.

Lukas at 135th and state line has a ton of FBS. I asked them about Hopslam and they put my name on a reserved list with probably 15-20 other people.

any recommendations for red ales? that is about as dark as i'll go.

i like the blue moon farmhouse red...

for xmas my dad bought us a beer of the month thing, a case each time, the stouts and IPA's  :Yuck: (which will likely be the majority of the beer) will just sit and get lonely.

a friend signed me up for a "craft beer of the month" club. It started in october and they send me 4 different beers every month. I have yet to receive even a decent beer from them. I mean it's all be really bad, guys.  :Yuck:

That's disappointing. I've always wanted to join one. Guess I'll just keep hitting the World Tour at Winking Lizard.
