Storm chasing and radar watching is nicname jr’s (14) latest hobby. He loves it. We’re in Florida rn for a wedding and he’s having a good time, but bummed to be missing the biggest storm weekend of the year so far.

He was watching the Omaha storms all day long today.

Gonna be a wild one tomorrow in SCK
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

This is the tornado that was somewhat close to where we live. Might get another round tonight!

Thanks. Yes, all is well with us. Tornado went north of us. I think there was a second one in the middle of the night to the south, but I don't know that for sure and we were sleeping through it all.

Different people have reported that we received 8-11" of rain last night. Lot of flooding of fields visible on both sides of K-39 as you go across Wilson County into Neosho County.

My father and the older generations were from that area. Glad all is well.

The RV park and the NW side of westy was hit. There was a storm chaser that got some super close ups and you can see the damage in the video. He said just based on sound alone it could be an EF-5

Everyone near me is okay. I think I was about 18 miles away from it when I snapped that pic. Ended up getting a little hail out of the deal, but no damage.

this is an absolutely hilarious thing for a chaser to say.

Storms went through Oklahoma last night. I guess same massive tornado formed over night in SE OK, but it was in the middle of nowhere & no one got hurt.

Last night was the loudest lightning I’ve ever heard. I live below the approach path of the Tulsa airport. At 2am 2 cracks hit back-to-back that shook my house & rumbled for 30 seconds after. I got up & ran outside because I thought a plane exploded on approach & the after rumble was the sound of the plane going down. I’ve been 50 feet from a metal high power line tower that got struck & this was more violent than that.

I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

House at the top of the hill on my street was struck last weekend, just the attic area caught fire and everyone was ok but it's probably a total loss

This supercell produced three different tornado warnings last night in western Kansas. The inflow of air was intense. Incredible lightning.
