19. Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State (6-4, 309, 5.08, RSr.)
Whitehall  left an indelible mark at KSU with his leadership, work ethic and high-level of play the last four years at both tackle and guard. He doesn't have the length to hold up consistently on the edges in the NFL, but Whitehair has the base strength and instincts to start at guard right now.

And the streak just keeps streakin.

Kansas State OT Cody Whitehair reminded NFL Network's Mike Mayock of Joel Bitonio and Zack Martin during a film review.

Bitonio and Martin, of course, were both stud collegiate left tackles who shifted inside to guard and played at a Pro Bowl-level. "Whitehair is the next one of those guys," Mayock said from the Senior Bowl. "I thought he had a really good day, especially in the line drills. He along with Vidal Alexander from LSU were impressive." Rotoworld's Josh Norris ranks Whitehair as the No. 19 overall draft prospect.

CBS Sports draft analyst Dane Brugler observed that while Kansas State OT Cody Whitehair "drew barely any praise during the [Senior Bowl] telecast," he ultimately proved able to "[win] almost every snap he took on Saturday."

Brugler referred to Whitehair's strong work as "business as usual" and wrote that the 6-foot-3, 309-pounder was "quick to set up off the snap, with the balance to stay square to defenders and control the point of attack." The CBS analyst is beyond high on him, calling him "NFL-ready right now" and reiterating his belief that Whitehair's a Top-25 prospect in this draft pool. Rotoworld draft analyst Josh Norris watched film of the former Wildcat over the last week and came away decidedly less-than-impressed. He had ranked Whitehair as his No. 19 overall draft prospect, but the Kansas State product "did not live up to [those high expectations]" when Norris dove deeper.
