CBS Sports draft analyst Dane Brugler observed that while Kansas State OT Cody Whitehair "drew barely any praise during the [Senior Bowl] telecast," he ultimately proved able to "[win] almost every snap he took on Saturday."
Brugler referred to Whitehair's strong work as "business as usual" and wrote that the 6-foot-3, 309-pounder was "quick to set up off the snap, with the balance to stay square to defenders and control the point of attack." The CBS analyst is beyond high on him, calling him "NFL-ready right now" and reiterating his belief that Whitehair's a Top-25 prospect in this draft pool. Rotoworld draft analyst Josh Norris watched film of the former Wildcat over the last week and came away decidedly less-than-impressed. He had ranked Whitehair as his No. 19 overall draft prospect, but the Kansas State product "did not live up to [those high expectations]" when Norris dove deeper.
