Even Jake said he'd be fine.  He looked fine just minutes after the injury.  Prob put some sort of wrap on it for Saturday and he'll lite up the Hav'snots for like 25.

From the moment he got "injured" he was displaying many of the same symptoms from last year's BYU game "rib injury." I'm not worried at all.

Sure with BSAC or some other elite would get their act together and let us know how bad the fracture is and if Jake will need a full implant before the tourney.

Was I the only one who noticed him picking himself up using his "broken" wrist? Putting all of his weight on his wrist; d00d is tough, but crap - nobody's that GD tough. If it was broken, not a chance in hell he put all of his weight on it. Im more worried about his stamina going into the B12 and NCAA tourney than his wrist.

Main reason i am confident nothing is broke..... he had his hands on his knees resting late in the game.  That would have been uncomfortable if the injury was bad.    He probably has a mild sprain and it will be sore this week

Yeah, and dribbling a basketball, shooting a basketball. If he had a broken bone in his hand that would be really tough. I bet he strained a ligament or something in there.

Ya, he was leaning on it, hands on knees.  Methinks he was acting, maybe to be sure he'd get himself to the line?  Would rather foul a hurt Pullen than a healthy Spradling?

Doubtful about a complete break of a bone.  Might have a fracture in the wrist or lower hand, and some fractures can't be seen on X-Ray till at least 10 days after it happened, but he'd be a go with any smaller fracture as long as he could withstand the pain.  The way he landed it would be very unlikely to sprain (not strain) a ligament.  My guess is a bone contusion or hairline fracture of a carpal.

The last two games Jake's frequency of getting a body foul on his drives has been very low. I can't believe officials would treat the Big 12 POY like that. Ridiculous.

In the snakebit days of Cat basketball, basically starting Lon's last year (when LaKeefe Humpries had to transfer) and continuing through Frank's first (Hoskins' injury), it was always whatever could go wrong, would go wrong. Walker's knee, Duane Davis injury and then DUIs, Ski Jones knee, and so much more.
The good news on Jake is proof that Frank, Beasely, Walker, Jake and beating KU in Manhattan finally lifted the curse.

He had the EMAJboner to end all EMAJboners when he thought Jake's hand had just given ku the 'ship and simultaneously knocked EMAW out of the NCAAs.
