Why wouldn't you just use photoshop for free?

I have a consumer version of photoshop (elements 12). I like it, hard to get used to, I just haven't invested the time into it to learn it.  I kind of wish I'd gotten lightroom instead.

I pretty much just use photoshop (CS5). If you want to learn how to do something just google or youtube it and you'll find all the info you need.

i don't know what you're using to mount it but a second opinion opinion will help you find out if the file's bad.  never had any issues with many years of vs iso's loading with magiciso

there's all sorts of other things to try but i've always just used their freeware magicdisc (basically just a tray icon) because i've never really had any reason to try anything newer http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm

not really familiar with whatever might come standard with the os nowadays

Windows 8 is garbage on so many levels. Microsoft needs to get their crap together. They just announced windows 10 at ces looks pretty cool.
