Ryan Boatright (Aurora, Ill./East)
2011, PG, 5-foot-10, 155 pounds
He attacked defenders off the dribble without mercy with his extra-tight handle. Boatright keeps the ball on a string as he crosses over and goes in between his legs at high speeds, with a fully loaded offensive arsenal at his disposal. When he receives the outlet, he can be at the rim in the blink of an eye. When Boatright can't get all the way to the rim, he knocks down a high-arching floater or stops and pops from midrange. When the defender backs away because of his excellent speed and quickness, Boatright rises up and knocks down the 3. He can create a shot at will and put up big numbers very quickly. His pace and energy on the offensive end is always at a high level.
