Oh guys, a friend helped me process my deer, took like 12 hours for everything and we used his kitchen and equipment.  I'd like to get him a nice bottle of booze for his trouble.  $100ish +/-.  He likes bourbon and scotch.  Help?

I know what you mean, I can always tell the next few days after.    Might be worse with Laphroaig.

Oban is closer to the requested price point.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is probably too spendy, but he would certainly appreciate it.

The Johnnie Walker Blue was pretty meh....$70 bottle of Balvenie was just as good if not better.

why don't you rednecks use the term "butchered"?  does using the word "processed" make you feel better about the disgusting event?

"Processed" indicates a step beyond butchering.  For example we made hamburger, sausage, and jerky.  I guess you could say we butchered him first.  Not sure why butchering an animal is disgusting anyway?  It's just meat.

Processing sounds like something a strategic mass murderer would say. Butchering sounds like a Jason Voorhees saying.

"Process" is also commonly used by the folks commonly doing the processing.  It is also found in game regulations.  That is probably the source for this word choice.
