although there are clearly instances where the capitol police stood aside for and even assisted the rioters, i think these stats (as well as the eye test in some, but certainly not all, vids) would suggest that it was more the case that they were outnumbered and overwhelmed rather than complicit (entirely possible that at higher levels, they were complicit).

Honestly these people are so angry and aggrieved over every single thing I'd bet if a study was done I bet they have a much higher rate of death by heart attack than the general population.
