The 2nd dose in a couple weeks should be awesome. Damn HF! Sorry to hear about your reaction. I think Steve Dave is right. You possibly already had the Rona. Hope second shot goes better for you. I'm a Moderna subject myself. 2nd shot is the 15th.Hold onto your butt(s)

I had to drive 2.5 hrs each way today, but was able to schedule rd. 2 within a half hour drive. Easier to schedule a 2nd Pfizer shot right now than a first shot here.

So I%u2019d bet a majority of the 141,000 people working at federal agencies within DCs borders live in DC also. Not sure why that wouldn%u2019t come out of the population allocation at least to some degree.
Three-quarters of all the people who work in D.C. live in Maryland or Virginia, mostly because housing in the District is too expensive. The capital%u2019s so-called daytime population, which includes people who come into the city every day to work, is nearly double the nighttime population of about 700,000. Many of these people are essential workers who can%u2019t work from home and therefore must be vaccinated to do their jobs%u2014hospital workers, police officers, firefighters, teachers, grocery workers.

Moderna jab #1 for me on Friday.
Quote from: passranch on March 31, 2021, 06:57:36 PMModerna jab #1 for me on Friday.I didn't feel a thing when I got my jab, kind of wondered if it missed or something. But the sore spot at the injection site today tells me it didn't miss.Otherwise, no side effects.

Another 6 hours in the car today and my wife got jab 1 from the vaccine King (Pfizer, obvs)
Can you get a second shot in a different location than your first?

Could have waited and spent tons of time refreshing availability to hopefully get one closer at some point, but it might have taken weeks. Second dose is easy to schedule for some reason, got it rescheduled about half an hour away for each of us.
