The fact that they buy good beer makers like goose island and turn them into shock top. If InBev buys your favorite craft brewer it's time to find a new favorite craft brewer.

so the quality of the beer declines after inbev takes over a smaller brewery?

yes, at least for the good brands they have purchased. they move production offsite and put a stop to most of the smaller batch craft and experimental brewing. even people who are fans of the large brands they have purchased have been upset.

great business though.

i did not like that article at all.  :don'tcare:

When do you guys drink your expensive ($10+) beers?  I want to drink my Bourbon Barrel Quad, but I don't want to just cash it on a random tuesday. Is that weird?

Zombie Monkey is very good. Best beer they've put out in a while and maybe my favorite from Tallgrass.
I liked the plum saison but I do agree the porter is quality.

I liked the part where they told that hops vendor "it's not you, we just happen to have several years of extra hops on hand to burn through"

If you can get it, I thoroughly enjoyed Sweet Water IPA. Brewed in Atlanta. Easy on the bitter scale. I downed five this evening after dinner. Delicious.

I liked HOPlanta last time I was there. Has a picture of a frog on the label. Obviously.

Bluegrass Brewing Company (Louisville), Red Brick Brewing and SweetWater Brewing (Atlanta), Thirsty Dog (Akron) and Great Lakes Brewing (Cleveland) are some of my favorites.

being a beer connoisseur seems exhausting.

Its really not that hard but some people take it too seriously.

Just go to the liquor store and buy a 12 pack of something you like and a 6pack of something you think you may like/people have recommended.

Rinse Repeat.
