Right, they will get a big guy for power downs.  At least we don't have to see Sproles do all the work and LT getting the ball inside the 5 yrd line to please the fantasy football players.

LT has been a dominant back for much longer than 90+% of NFL careers.  Except for this year, had been a top 4 fantasy pick since 2002. Look at guys like lj, any broncos RB from several years ago, pretty much any of them and they're only top tier for 2, 3, maybe 4 years.

Always liked LT, and thought he was unstoppable in his prime.  However, it was frustrating to see Sproles get the shaft the past 3 years because LT was still on the team, playing a minor role.  Now hopefully Sproles doesn't have to get his touchdowns 20 yards out.

Definitely not against another back sharing playing time DS.  DS can't take all the hits and carries, especially when he is a huge special teams playmaker.

Their roles are/were completely different and I don't really see Sproles' role changing much this year.  He'll probably get a couple more carries a game but once their replacement for LT starts producing Sproles' role will go back to what it was before.  Darren just doesn't have the body to get consistently get 20 carries a game, if he's planning on staying in the league for an extended amount of time.
