I blame Linton. fuckers kicks those who want to play for the Cats off the team, for one. Also missing the tourney took some steam out of the program. Had we won a couple of games in March with Tomlin on the team, the off-season vibe would have been much different. So again, eff Lint trap.

I've been thinking about this, as well. It would suck to get recruited, come in as a freshman, buy-in, practice hard to earn playing time and then have players transfer in who are guaranteed playing time/usage in the program. I guess it is just a fact of life in the NIL/portal world but it still has to suck for these guys.

what is the point in following high school recruiting at this moment in time? Any recruit who is so so will probably be gone and any recruit who whips ass most likely will transfer out.

I think the only way to even remotely "fix" this is to limit it on the school side...limit how many transfers a school can take in a give year. A "demand" reduction.
