Good catch.  IOU's never work.  Young women are just a lot more wilier and smarter than we give them credit for (great people).  I always made sure to have the liquor and cigarettes in hand for the proposition to work.  Even then, sometimes I needed to clarify that a swimsuit was neccessary.
