It's labor day here in Spain, quite a bit more celebrated than the American equivalent. Pretty interesting.

I just hope he's been able to manage the trains, planes, and automobiles.

Sit at the gate for 30 minutes because of some fuel paperwork issue (according to the pilot), taxi out and in line to take off, Oops now we need more fuel and have to return to the gate. It is now one hour past departure time and we haven't even got back to the gate yet.

I was flying back from Philly to KC (Lawrence) once, with a connection through O'Hare, except I didn't need to change planes because it was the same flight number, so I got to stay on the plane. We sat there for 5 hours because they needed an engineer somewhere (Dallas, I assume, because it was AA) to sign off on a repair. The repair? Changing the placard (sticker, really) on a lavatory ...

Ahhh, the joys of traveling.

I'm flying out to Phoenix tomorrow to see my mom and stay a week. Both are directs so I'm hoping it's smooth sailing.

I bet if it was in Europe you'd be compensated for the inconvenience

What's also kinda crazy is my flight from Madrid arrived an hour early but we had to sit on the tarmac for 20 minutes because customs wasn't open yet

I got the Europe compensation once. $660 plus meals/hotel for an extra day in Copenhagen. I got a direct deposit for $1,100 within 10 days.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

I made it fellas. Couple small delays but all was good. Prob one of my last 5am flights. That’s just too early. 1:45 is not an alarm setting I want any part of in the future. Currently boozed up and sitting in a comfy beach chair staring at the ocean. 10/10 my bod needed
