Would have said this at 8PM, but SHEEEIIITTTTT

KSU has 2nd place locked down.  UT, A&M, and Baylor all have games against each other not to mention games against TT, OU, OSU.  As good as the conference is this year the south is miles better than the north, KSU will finish 2nd even at 10-6, even if Texas would have won tonight. 

UT lost, the conference is over, the battle in the conference is for the last 2 byes.

The CBS deal ends in 2014 right?  Maybe no expansion until then?

The NCAA has the option to opt out after this year and they will do just that.  ESPN/ABC will challenge CBS for the new contract.  CBS is going to partner with Turner to make sure they have enough juice for the bid.  The only way I can see the Turner partnership making sense is if they feel the tourney is getting expanded.

To say Lou isn't a liability on the court IMO is crazy! In the Texas game, he turned it over on one end and gave up an and 1 lay-up on the other! He then was pulled from the game and didn't see the court again.

Everyone on the team has had shazbot! ups like that at some point this season.  Stupid talking point.  

My only point was that Lou is a liability! For people to say that he isn't is crazy! Does Wally do dumb things, of course. I just think that Frank trust Lou sometimes too much b/c* he is a senior but I think Lou's downfalls hurt us. Frank wins and Frank gets paid to coach so I trust him!

OSU is going to the NCAA tournament, don't get why people are bent about that game.  When the reg season is over it won't mean a thing.  Won't effect the Big 12 place or the NCAA seed.

personally, i dont see osu in the tourney...

Is it a 45 team tourney this year?  You must also not see Mizzou, Ohio State, Maryland, UNLV, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Dayton.  OSU has a better profile than all of those teams.  4 top 100 wins and no bad losses.  Their RPI is in the 30's just behind Gonzaga, A&M, amd Baylor.  Six teams for the Big 12 is a given, 7 is very possible, and Tech will has a ton of games to win to put them into the conversation as well.

Just an aside, KSU fans need to stop watching these other games and wondering "who will help us."  There is one team in the conference you need to worry about and that's Kansas, all the other teams are irrelevant as far as the fate of KSU.  Watch Big 12 basketball with the enjoyment of knowing your team will finish no worse than 2nd.

You purposefully avoided my point, well done Dax well done.  I'm guessing you just threw out the first year because he went 7-1, I'm guessing you are forgetting that the remaining home games are against Nortards and Frank will finish this season 6-2 because it doesn't fit your point.  I am well aware of the record the last 12, please explain to me why last seasons 5-3 is more important than the previous seasons 6-2.

Also waiting for the answer to my question as to how many coaches first 3 year home conference record will match Franks.

K-State's record at home in last 12 conference home games.

Pretty arbitrary number no?  Is there something special about the last 12 that they should be separated from all of the conference home games in Frank martin's tenure?  He is 13-6 his first 2.5 years, with 3 of those losses coming to top 15 teams.  I will go ahead and play with numbers like you and your boy Kietz did and project the last 4 conference home lay-ups as wins, that will make Frank 17-6 his first 3 years.  Please find for me 5 coaches anywhere that has a better record their first 3 years as a head coach.  Hell I'll even let you find 5 coaches with a better home conference record the first 3 years at their current school.  Few, Self, Williams, maybe Dixon and Howland, anyone else?

i'm curious about this.  i wonder how many minutes martin will let mcgruder have at the 2.  it seems to me that martin is pretty reluctant to ever play him without 2 other ballhandleyier guards.  might "inexplicably" limit his minutes next year, especially with sutton still entrenched as a 3.

Do you blame Frank?  Grudes is going to have to work on his ball handling starting in the spring.  Right now he is incapable with the ball in his hands and he isn't shooting.  At this level and in Franks offense you have to have 2 ball handlers on the court.  This is the value of DenClem he keeps the offense running and doesn't turm it over.  If there is going to be an issue next year it is a second reliable ball handler and distributor.  I love Rodney's game but he is a BIG liability handling the ball right now.  However, I do think his issues are largely mental and not physical.  We shall see.

Southwell and Jack played in the championship of the SNY Classic earlier today.  The encore will be broadcast tomorrow 1/31 on SNY at 4:30PM central.  SNY is 639 if you have directv.  No idea about dish and uverse.
