So the SEC champion lost to someone in their own division after winning the championship. What does that say about LSU? WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THE REST OF THE CONFERENCE???

The SEC is not a joke. The talent is amazing.

But what is even more amazing is how horrible their coaches are. Saban was mediocre in the Big 10, Miles was below mediocre in the Big XII, Chizik was winless in our league. Spurrier at Florida was like Briles at Baylor - all offense - until he hired Stoops to fix his defense. Urban Meyer was the first decent coach that conference had in a long time and he dominated. Petrino may actually be the best coach in that conference right now. Sad.

Can you imagine what Paul Rhodes would do in the SEC? Scary.

This ain't no joke son. Facts are a bitch, but here they are.

1. Since Texas was the last non-SEC team to win a national championship, the SEC can complete an entire first string of first-team All-Americans — with at least one player at every position from Arkansas running back Darren McFadden to current LSU punter Brad Wing

2. Since 2006, six SEC defensive linemen, eight linebackers and 14 defensive backs have graced All-America first-team lists.

3. The SEC had 283 players on NFL rosters this season, including 10 first-round draft picks this past April.

4. The Big 12 placed five players on the Football Writers Association of America first team. None played on defense.

5. The top four defenses and five of the stingiest nine all reside in the SEC.

So Big 12 go get some players and get physical, if you want to run with the SEC.
