scientist...    not of anything in particular, I just liked the idea of mixing chemicals in beakers & test tubes.   I think it all goes back to my love of Donatello from Ninja Turtles.... In fact, Donatellos purple mask is what originally attracted me to liking Kstate over KU.

absolutely a fact though. i mean, wanting to be a platoon player who maybe sits the bench every other game but could play multiple positions and cared a lot was realistic. dunno. i was a baseball freak before grade school. would watch whole cubs games by myself before i was five.

Every kid I grew up with had a time in their life when they were hardcore into the Cubs because there was always a game on WGN. My favorites were  McGriff and Ryne Sandberg. I don't even really give two shits about baseball nowadays.
