it is interesting. but it's not that interesting to offer as a counter thesis that ryan is only recruiting more white players than is typical because he likes their color. not when he's fielding consistent great teams.

like, i thought it was a more interesting question when i thought you had a more interesting alternative hypothesis to explain why he has so many outstanding players rather than just an alternative hypothesis for why he had so many white players.

It's basically the same question.

Like, does he recruit fewer top-flight AAU programs, and maybe his players have the talent to be on these teams but don't for whatever reason?
