I think white players being undervalued is very interesting

it is interesting.  but it's not that interesting to offer as a counter thesis that ryan is only recruiting more white players than is typical because he likes their color.  not when he's fielding consistent great teams.

like, i thought it was a more interesting question when i thought you had a more interesting alternative hypothesis to explain why he has so many outstanding players rather than just an alternative hypothesis for why he had so many white players.

It's basically the same question.

Like, does he recruit fewer top-flight AAU programs, and maybe his players have the talent to be on these teams but don't for whatever reason?

it's the same question to you, because you knew what you intended to write.  i was giving you the benefit of the doubt (but sort of getting ready to blast you if your explanation didn't make any sense).

It would appear everyone may have known Dekker was headed to UW, because his rivals offer list sucks, but he was a 5 star and rated 13th in the country.
So he's winning battles against great programs for some of these guys. Interesting.

looks like he committed to uw in 2010 and then blew up summer of 2011.

Would also appear that the Illinois/Wisc area is producing some pretty good b-ball players that are white.

tons from wisconsin and almost all from the upper midwest.

btw, still looks like 2015 uk will finish with the best kenpom rating ever.  ku could still retain the title if duke beats uw by enough.

is Popovich the most or least racist coach in the NBA because i think both are purposely avoiding the typical elite player that is currently produced by aau basketball.

MIR, that's more of an argument against Wooden being good than Geno being great.

No, it's an argument that illustrates that expecting the women's game to have parity when it's still relatively new is kinda hypocritical

Don't really care the venue in which a Final Four is held. The key thing is to be there if you can.

Kentucky being Kentucky. This is how it will always be. Rupp, Hall, now Calipari. It will never change.
