I enjoy going by myself. Hate waiting between sets, though. I've started taking walks around the neighborhood during this time and enjoy it.

It's pretty good but honestly not one of my favorite festivals. Everything ends before it gets dark, which completely nullifies light shows, which often are a huge part of the experience. Like a few years ago I saw Arcade Fire and that was tons of fun, but I've also seen Arcade Fire at night with their whole stage setup and it was 5x as cool. But of course the variety of music at JazzFest and the food are both great.

Also, they need to start capping ticket sales. Don't know if you guys heard, but last year's Elton John headlining show was a complete butts-to-nuts claustrophobic nightmare. Very dangerous.

It's been a few years since i went to Jazz Fest so I've missed on the recent crowds. But I agree with ending before dark sucks.
