UTEP qb has an arm. Threw a dime 49 yard pass that probably won’t stand for a TD but it was a beautiful throw

UTEP was 3-12 on 3rd downs, had 3 turnovers, and 43 rushing attempts for an average of 3.6 ypc.

While UTEP may be in Texas, in relative terms, JSU is situated much better then UTEP as far as recruiting goes.

Right in the middle of the NSH-ATL-BHAM triangle, with Huntsville-Chattanooga within spitting distance.

They actually used that formation later in the game on a 3rd or 4th and short and, when the ball was snapped, the trio of guys behind the QB basically all ran right behind his ass and pushed him through the trenches to get the first down.

I thought it was pretty clever at the time, but didn't know they had run it just a wee bit less successfully earlier in the game.

Seems like they did that perfectly backwards. Get the run first then use the play action out of the same formation later.

That's a long way to go to be in clown car formation.

While your post did make me IRL LOL, clown car formation may be a little strong.
