Guys, one of my icons, the great Randy Travis, has fallen upon hard times. Please keep him in your prayers and ask the good lord to watch over him and keep him clothed in public from this point forward, forever and ever amen.

I love Randy's music as much as the next guy. Heck, I still listen to Old Time Christmas every Christmas Eve. Randy needs help though. He has a demon and the last thing he needs is more money to feed that demon. Randy should take some time off to mend his soul and then come back better than ever!

Yes. We need to keep praying for Randy. I can admit that I have left him out of my most recent prayers because I let myself forget about his troubles. We all need to pray harder than ever to get Randy through these difficult times. Our prayers got him to church, but we must be able to get him inside.

It sounds like it would be a good time watching somebody who is drunk or high on dope try to sing but believe me its not. People who go to see Randy now won't have to worry about forever and ever amen getting butchered by the very genious who wrote it. Randy is also working on a new album and having a clear head is sure to help with that.

I think you get it from just caring too much and being too great of a person. I'm sure these are scary times for our icon and we need to pray harder now than ever. Those doctors are going to attempt to give Randy a robot heart or something, and if it works out he should be ok. We just all need to keep praying.

He's not going to let this heart bug ail him much longer. Randy beat alcoholism and he will beat this. My son was telling me last year that Randy was going to get himself killed and people were going to start calling alcoholism Randy Travis' Disease. I told him he was probably right but Randy overcame that just like he's going to overcome this.
