Somewhere on the KU campus, maybe the union, I've seen aerial photos of the growth of Memorial Stadium from bleachers to that shithole that about half that went under the wrecking ball. Like, they were real proud of the stadium's evolution. Now they tore much of it the eff down.
My question is how do they address the real problem of so much seating being beyond the goal line because of the spacious horseshoe on the closed-in side of the stadium to accomidate the historic running track? I assume they plan to place the MLS section closer to the field, which will ruin the view on that side of the closest seats in the horseshoe.
I'm sorry my tax dollars are paying for this ill-conceived patch.
