I just retweeted that so hard.

Trump voters will vote for him extra hard now.
Doing huge deals for the Russians and having high level party apparatchiks lobbying for Russian banks and oil companies didn't stop millions from voting for Hillary and Dems.

I was thinking they'd like him for kicking the liberal media's ass.
-
That guy has been a piece of crap for a long time.
-
I'm not 100% sure Ben Jacobs knows what a body slam is.
-
I don't know. He said he was "horizontal" and then thrown to the ground.
-
Yah but
-
At that point, Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him. Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the man, as he moved on top the reporter and began yelling something to the effect of "I'm sick and tired of this!"

He's guaranteed to win now. Physical violence towards the free press is what the FSD's want in a politician.
-
over half the vote is already in. he's still going to win.

are convicted felons allowed to serve in congress? i've never heard that they weren't. what about if the conviction is after their election? pretty interesting

What makes you think this was felony assault? Is his mind a deadly weapon? Or perhaps because he was clearly aggravated?

I posted that before I read that he was cited with a misdemeanor but from now on I am working on the assumption that this glass throated lib journo someone who makes me uncomfortable will die from his injuries and the felony is murder.

As I suspected, it appears Jacobs was Choke Slammed. The audio is impressive, he took it like a champ and still had his wits about him.
-
My favorite part:
(Paraphrasing) Jacobs says he was never asked to the leave the office. The audio confirms Jacobs side of the story. You can Giamforte screamimg get the eff out of here multiple times before there's an audible tussle.

Hopefully lot, because the guy he's runnimg against is a dopey #berner
-
I'm okay with MT dopey berners. This guy is a corrupt snake.

This is hilarious. Skippyboy is peaved for being man handled in this guy's headquarters. This is the Montana Mangler's sanctuary. People in Montana get rid of rats in their caves. This will garner votes.

I've voted against this clownbarf twice before and I voted extra hard against him again today.

Porky, yes!

My friend in Idaho is calling all of her MT friends (she went to school in Helena) to encourage them to vote against. She used to work on campaigns so I hope she has a lot of connections. If I hadn't blown up all of my MT contacts, id do the same.

Left goes beserk over the mean violent whit clan Trump supporters. The Mangler is psychopath. So how does the media respond to the violence against conservative being hailed as virtuous. Have you ever seen this in the CNN or MSNBC headlines?

Well, I'm not so sure. He did call him an bad person. And it's not like he voted for him. I'm holding out hope.
-
All I know about Gio is that audio clip, but I like him so far.
-
For everyone's sanity, Montana is a heavy "vote early" state. I think I heard more than half the ballots were in by mail before the altercation even occurred and there is no way to change that vote. So him winning isn't really a sign of anything besides how he was viewed vs the competition pre-incident.

Not surprised that anti-lifer KSUW encourages acts physical violence against people he disagrees with.

No. It's one house seat. I wouldn't vote for this prick just to protect one seat. (Wouldn't have voted for other dude either).

And also very popular with the type of person that would consider voting republican in the first place.

I know nothing of the Dem candidate but Gianforte was embattled enough in his own state he shouldn't have won if the Dems put up anything better than a complete loser.

Could this finally convince liberals we need to severely curtail early voting? Nah, probably not.

No crap. I would more than likely not bother voting here (R's when anyways) if i had to do it in person. It's already a big enough hassle to fill out the ballet and then walk to the end of the cul-de-sac to put it in the mail box.

My poll place is across the street and I'd rather early vote, but Missouri is pretty regresocon

Other than giving the fraudsters more time to operate, it isn't. The problem isn't outright voter fraud, but what I refer to as vote harvesting - rounding up dumbasses who otherwise wouldn't vote and either busing them in or gathering absentee ballots. Again, this happens on Election Day, too, but early voting allows a much larger window.
The Dems love this because liberal voters are by their nature more prone to be lazy/disengaged. The Dems would not favor making it as easy and as early to vote as possible if they didn't see an advantage. They've been perfecting vote harvesting since the old Tammany Hall days. The GOP is catching up but that's not the point - vote harvesting dumbs down the voting pool and undermines Democracy.
And no, that doesn't mean early voting isn't a convenience for many intelligent people - of course it is. So would voting online, and it would be an even worse idea for the same reason.
-
Republicans hate the will of the people, sad but predictable
-
Republicans hate the will of the people, sad but predictable
Campaigns canvassing communities a month in advance to collect as many absentee ballots as possible from disengaged and lazy people = "will of the people." Sad but predicable.
-
Nothing wrong with early voting, but it shoots down KSUw's point that the Dems couldn't beat a guy with an assault charge. Most people voted already by the time he did it. It still shows that Trumpers love violence by some of these cheerleading comments
-
Voting is great except when it's someone who wasn't probably gonna vote. People who maybe weren't gonna vote shouldn't be allowed to vote! Voting should be hard to do. :curse:

He's no Ted Kennedy (2x dem presidential candidate and hooker murderer), that's for sure.

North Carolina Congressman Bob Etheridge, a seven-term elected Democrat, was asked by a student reporter if he supported the “Obama agenda.” Etheridge promptly attempted to grab the reporter’s cell phone camera, then grab the reporter’s wrist, demanding, “Who are you! Tell me who you are… I have a right to know who you are!” One of the student’s friends, who caught the incident on camera, said, “We’re just here for a project.” When the student in Etheridge’s grip asked to be released, Etheridge instead grabbed him by the neck.

-
You love to be wrong.
Etheridge was re-elected in 2008 with 67 percent of the vote.
On election day Ellmers was elected with 50 percent of the vote to Etheridge's 49 percent, while Rose received 2 percent.[36] On November 4, 2010, Etheridge had yet to concede despite the Associated Press declaring Ellmers the winner.[37] On November 12 Etheridge confirmed he would seek a recount,[38] after which he conceded on November 19.[39] Ellmers was again re-elected in 2012[40] and 2014.[41] Etheridge unsuccessfully ran for Governor of North Carolina in 2012.
So weird, the guy lost 20 points after attacking someone. Republicans actually gain more votes when they do it.
-
Oh, I figured it out! this guy lost because he apologized and said there was no excuse for his actions, that Montana guy said the reporter was lying and deserved it anyway
-
2010 was a great year for democrat congressmen. Just as good as 2008.
Appoint him to a cabinet position and run him for governor. No hypocrisy to there.
It's a race to the bottom and the libtards are setting the precedent.

-
What's with your hard on for this guy?
He secretly bought some land through some shell companies and then tried to shut down a public access to a popular river. Then he sued the state through this secret company. Then he was found out, and a long time writer for a conservation organization wrote a piece critical of him. As he was a large donor he used his leverage to get the writer fired. He has very obviously been shown to say one thing, what conservative Montanans want to hear, and then do the exact opposite. He's not even a native. And now he's taken his money there and is trying to fundamentally change the state to the detriment of its citizens.
-

Emo pretty much summed it up. Extreme fundamental religious views are part of his story too. It's disappointing the Dems didn't do better in finding a challenger, not sure why, maybe they were intimidated by GOP PAC money pouring into the election. But the term is up in 18 months and eyes across the state were opened and the guy will be out on his ass before he can do much damage.
-
A motivated incumbent with boat loads of cash might not be easily dispatched.
-
Despite limited support from the national party – some $600,000 – Quist was not cash-poor. The party's grassroots kept Montana in play by raising an eye-popping $6 million in small-dollar donations. Quist outraised Gianforte, who had to lend his own campaign $1.5 million.

Not sure who puni is talking to, but Max Baucus was an influential Montana senator for like 90 years and Jon Tester is currently serving his second term.
Given the current whack-a-do regressionary neo-fascist police state platform of the dnc, I could see more and more states abandoning the party forever, though.
