So who trademarked EMAW?

THEY WILL BE SUED

Kansas State University did; although, it's only a TM not a ®. That means its not a registered trademark. The TM means they are saying it's theirs, but thats about it. The TM is really kind of meaningless. I guess maybe it does give some protection if someone else were to register it.

Do Spencer Kietzman and Kevin Kietzman deserve a spot in this thread for their repeated libel of Jacob Pullen when they hurled completely unfounded accusations against him that he was a serial bike thief who carried around wire clippers in his back pocket to steal bikes to ride to Bramlage??
no way

Btw, what is up with the new football poster aka "Colin Klein's moles"
ku fans in my office are asking that very same question.

I always thought it looked like a maternity shoot pose.

That's just what I see when I look at it. Maybe I just know alot of pregnant people right now. Arthur and CK, I know you read this, this in no way reflects my opinion of you, your skills, or your emaw.

From oldtimerdax in the BSFS expansion thread, but thought it deserved to be documented here too:

Quote
The way those lights were put in, under the diretion of AD Dick Towers was pure KStateO.    The reasoning behind putting 4 towers on one side and 2 on the other was because they didn't want glare for TV (yeah like K-State being put on TV a lot back then).   The reasoning for setting them back so far was to allow for expansion, like poles couldn't be moved.   It just never made any sense at all, and it really doesn't now.

OH, I've got another one from the vaults that just came back to me.  In 1982, when we beat CU to qualify for the Independence Bowl (our first!) everyone in the stands threw oranges on the field.  (Orange Bowl, hey!)

Actually, I'm not entirely sure if that's K-State0 or just embarrassing, but whatevs...

I remember that (wasn't there). I think that was pretty awesome. Besides, they couldn't throw independences on the field, could they?

Could probably have fired their (perfectly legal) AR-15's in to the air?

Not sure if it is Kstate0 or a Snyderism or both, but I adore Snyds rocking old bowl game jackets on the sidelines instead of the current Nike issued apparel.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

You're not the only one.  When Snyder was wearing an old Holiday Bowl jacket for the Oklahoma State game last year, Herbstreit was all

To me it looks like he's carrying a suitcase full of cash with cash overflowing out of the back.  It was basically the  :kstategrad: symbol for kstate grads before the internet was invented.

In the 80's the paint was peeling off the scoreboard in the football stadium, so they sent a guy out there with a lift truck and a can of purple paint and a brush.   Went it dried you see all the brush marks .  .  . the Un-KstateO it the next week by sending a real paint crew.

Few people would notice, but the 2 auxillary scoreboards on each end of Ahearn Fieldhouse, since taken down were about 2/10's of a second slower than the main scoreboard.  I remember going into Ahearn Fieldhouse and seeing the AD Larry Travis and a couple of guys running down the clock a whole bunch of times, and they basically saying Eff it and quit.
