Bought a Giant hybrid off ebay for $25, seller was in a yellow gas station in Lawrence.  They were subsequently raided for being a fence  :sdeek:.  It's held up like a champ for 7 years now, but am now switching to my old Diamondback hybrid with 700cm wheels.

Am looking for a good light to mount on bike so I can ride home from work at 5pm--it will be dark on the trails until time changes in the spring.  Any recommendations?

I use this, it's rechargeable so you don't have to buy batteries and is pretty much amazing:

Very nice unit, very highly rated, and something I'll probably buy.  Thanks for the info.

Cranked out 28.4 at 16.5 pace today, helped that it was 61 degrees out.  Wanted to go another 10 but dark set in and I was not geared up for it.

Not great but good for a guy that has drank way to much beer and ate way too much BBQ the past 12 months

Yeah, I like the gray too.

It's Ultegra.

I like SRAM, and used it for years, but don't like apex. I'd at least go for Rival if you want to go the SRAM route. It's definitely one of the better values in the component world for roadies.

Is this thread about bicycles?
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

Nice riding! I just pulled the roadie out. Cleaned the chain and gave it a bath. Pumped the tires to 115#. Ready for a midweek ride! Sunny and 65F in Kentucky this week. :)

Got 20 in a mixed ride of gravel and linear trail. Very slow pace though

Awesome ride, anything over 15 miles is a great ride no matter the pace
