IIRC, Ferguson has been backing up the safeties the entire year, including last week when Zimmerman went out. Plus, he has more experience than Barnett.

Fergie was expected to be the starter this year.  I don't know jack about him or Dante, I just assume the coaches would go with the better player.  :dunno:
