2015 QB likes K-State, covets Mizzou offerWoody WommackAnalyst 0 0 0MORE: Indiana coming after 2015 RB Dowell As one of the top quarterbacks in the state, it's not a surprise that Hays (Kan.) three-star prospect Alex Delton already holds an offer from Kansas State and has the Wildcats in good standing on his list. Alex Delton thinks his diverse skill set would fit well in the Kansas State offense. "I'm very comfortable with them," the 6-foot, 193-pound Delton said. "I was the first guy in my class that they offered at quarterback. The relationship I have with Coach (Del) Miller and them is pretty big. The relationship I have with the whole staff is good. I've been around there quite a bit and I definitely feel comfortable with them." Delton can sling it with some of the best of them but also recorded one of the best 40-yard dash times of any players at the recent Under Armour Underclassmen Combine. He said he thinks his skill would fit nicely into K-State's offense. "I feel like they kind of favor that particular type of quarterback with my skills," Delton said. "It's good that they offered me. I can definitely see myself fitting into that program." While the Wildcats are his only offer, plenty of schools continue to show interest. "It's getting pretty crazy the last month or so with Nebraska, Missouri and West Virginia," Delton said. With the dead period now over, Delton is expecting to hear from plenty of schools. "I know I talked to Coach (Shannon) Dawson at West Virginia. They're going to come and see me," Delton said. "Coach (Tim) Beck at Nebraska said they're going to come and see me. Coach (Andy) Hill from Mizzou, who I have a really good relationship with, is coming up to see me as well." Delton said the Tigers are a team he's really hoping to add to his offer list. "I'd like to have an offer from Missouri next," he said. "That's a school I've been talking to a lot. I do like Missouri a lot. I like their offense and how their coach works with their quarterbacks." With camp season just around the corner, Delton said he's hoping to pick up some offers without having to auditioning at camps over the summer. "There's some schools I thought about camping at this summer," he said. "But at the same time I feel like the schools that are on me right now are on me pretty heavy and I'm confident most of them will come through and offer me this spring. I'll basically go from there and see what offers I have and look further into it this summer."

As soon as Tennessee, Florida and Georgia get back to their historical average, Mizzou will be left with two conference wins a season, at best, for ever and ever.

Mizzou will be just as good as they were in the Big 12.
