Come on SD.  I couldn't post anywhere on GE if not for your farm thread.

Any of that stuff have a pan seat on it?  Any make or model names?

Tom

I'm guessing these are pan seats? If so they are around but not attached.

No idea what this thing is but maybe it blows grain or something?

This has me intrigued.  Here's your chance, SD.  Remnants of a stationary combine?

I took a closer look this afternoon and it has a conveyor belt of "scoops" that run through the  tube powered by that pulley/gear portion.

It's some sort of hoist thing but only about 12ft tall so not a true windmill.

Wow, looks who is still salty about getting overshadowed by Tom.

When I have a question about running a cow farming operation/general farming questions SD is still my #1 guy.

When it comes to old timey farm equipment and if they are worth any money Tom is my #1 guy.

I know you don't ask pappy much, but about ten to fifteen years ago I went to farm auctions about every week.  I can tell you that people with mini-farms love the crap out of old-time equipment.  There are bucks to be made just by selling these things on the net.  Make sure you have the buyer pick the equipment up.  Unless you have a large tractor with a loader and want to be a nice guy.  Also, there is no way I would sell the wheels off any of the equipment.  Once you do that your equipment has no value to anyone but a scrap dealer.  If for some reason you want to sell stuff as scrap, be prepared to haul it to the dealer.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

I almost forgot about the equipment seats.  If you let them go for $25 ea, you are giving them away.  They are almost as popular as steel wheels.  Let's say I saw them go for around $100 to $150 at auctions when they are cleaned up, but not painted or power bushed since that will destroy the art value.  People use them as seating next to their garage/barn/house.  Usually, weld the equipment mount to a metal post as this makes the seat bouncy like when it was on the horse-drawn equipment.

Here is an online auction site that might help you with the value of your equipment.

Good info, Kat pappy.  I was low balling value based on crap on Craigslist. If you can get a couple of horned up yard artist in an auction then all the better.

I've seen people take an entire old iron implement and make that the center piece of a flower bed or property entrance too.

Probably spoiled in NEKS, but scrapers out of Topeka will drop a dumpster at the farm, let me fill it, and pick it up.

Looks like most of the equipment is International Harvester.

There ya go... International Harvester Company

"In 1919, IH bought the Parlin and Orendorff factory in Canton, Illinois, a leader in plow manufacturing,..."

I am guessing here, but will say P&O stamped on there relates to the above from wikipedia. That's some heavy equipment, Ben ji.  I'd say it was used as sod busting tool to turn the prairie over.

So now find a site of IH enthusiasts and start posting pix.

My dad has a '50's IH pick-up truck that is currently a bustling wasp metropolis. That thing worth any money?

So far it's been too windy to put the bird in the air the days that we've been planting. Here is a video that I shot last year.

Nice perspective on the planting. Is your moisture situation okay? Was talking to one of Mrs SSOC's family members from the Pratt area and they are hurting for moisture - bad enough that even wheat is suffering.

Have you seen any of this guy's farming / drone videos? Skip ahead to 6:50 when they break out a JD 95 from the 1950s and run it along with the modern machines:
