David Castillo looked good in Colorado Springs at the USA basketball camp this week, pumped about him. Ngongba was there as well, which I believe is taking his final visit to Cats U the weekend of the Houston game.

Also, I got a text this morning and have went down an absolute rabbit hole.

South Plains College (JUCO) in Levelland, TX has a 22 year old German freshman that is 7'2 and has 1.9 Tiktok followers (LOL). Name is Rupee Kolawole.

Not a lot of film out there on him, but he's getting some D1 offers. It's probably even possible we could never hear his name again.

So, obviously a completely different situation, but kind of has some similarities to Nae'Qwan, who came to K-State at 21 years old (turns 23 in 2 months) and their games are similar. Although NQT is a much more athletic.

Sounds like he's under investigation for an agent related infraction. Not with the team until the investigation is over.

No idea if the staff is confident he'll be cleared or not.
