Yeah, nice to see both parties get over themselves real quickly. Alpha on Alpha will do that to ya.

Update:

Shot +5 on 9 holes on Sunday. I actually par'd on 6 holes and just did poorly on 3.

It was a fun run.

On Monday, my group shot 10 under through 18 at Lake Quivira. We had some ringers on the team. Fun to see some golfers really pound it out there. I definitely contributed on some par 3 shots and putts. It was a really fun day. 18 under won the tournament tho.

SdK was generous and invited me to join him, his family and a friend at a golf outing tomorrow at Colbert Hills. I am looking forward to finally seeing that course, and to celebrating SdK's birthday. Glad to be included in the festivities.

Have fun! Clean those clubs tonight. Dad says he always plays better when he cleans his clubs the night before. Helps him psychologically and stuff.

Funny you should say that. We went to the driving range earlier in the week. SdK and I talked about needing to clean my clubs before Saturday. I intend to do that tonight. (And sometimes SdK treats me like I am old enough to be his dad...and irl I am.)

What a great day on the course yesterday. The weather was great and the foursome SdK put together was stellar. Colbert Hills is a difficult course but it was a great way to celebrate SdK's birthday. Dinner afterwards was great as well.
Anybody who hasn't played that course, I would recommend. But would also recommend taking lots of golf balls. I lost a ton.
