Feelin' Uneasy

I want to be seriously excited about the coming hoops season.  With the talent on hand, the strong finish last year, and the positive vibe in Manhattan, I believe this could be a great year.

However, I then ponder it is still Weber coaching.  He has found a way to get his teams to under perform before.  Plus, KSU barely got in the tourney last year, and then benefited from some breaks via upsets to help them advance to the Elite 8. 

I know I should shut up and just go along for the ride.  And I hope it all does go well -- as it should.

Maybe I am missing something that would help me put aside those doubts and get me full on committed for the coming season.

A good thing to remember is we got our asses handed to us by almost every above average team we played prior to the tournament. I hope we’re tournament good this season but that was the anomaly and not the norm last year.

I think this team could comfortably make the tournament. That's all I'm ready to expect. I will probably watch the games this year, and I might even be excited about some of them. Bruceketball is a rocket ship to the moon, mother fuckers.

I am not uneasy because I think we have good depth.  I am excited about McGuirl.  Everything I read is he is very good.  Trice brings rebounding; a dire need.  In most games we lost last year we lost the rebounding war.  The fall off between the starters and 2nd stringers have been wide, and other teams pull away.  Hopefully big point gaps won't develop when subs come in.  Finally we play fearlessly
