There was trade talk last season about the Royals maybe going and getting Rios. Maybe there will at least be some talk this year and we can all get excited for nothing like the Rangers fans did last year.

Ned pretty much said on 610 this morning we won't see Hosmer till after the all-star break. He's pretty swollen. He also said this whole team is pretty hurt right now.

I bet they play 3 innings and each have at least 1 AB. And when you take into account the added travel and other activities it's not really rest.

It's fun to say we'll have 7 or 8 all stars, but it's a little detrimental to the team.

Don't worry about the ASG. We'll end up sending Sal, Alcedes, Cain, Gordon, Davis, MAYBE Moose. That's it. Plenty of rest for the rest of the team

Sal- Catcher. Needs a whole week to rest.

Alcedes- Needs that finger nail to heal

Cain- Hammy

Nut yeah, I'm not worried either. it would be nice for these guys to go fishing or something else rather than play baseball, but I like seeing royals players in the all star game.

don't be a pessimistic loser, cf3. we can easily get infante, and unless your defeatist attitude has infected everyone in kansas city, morales too. it'd be lollable if yost added moose when everyone has been bitching nonstop for a month about too many royals in the game, but he doesn't have the balls.

Back to earlier posts, I'm not too concerned about the past 2 games. Keuchel is probably going to start the all star game, and we started Joe Freaking Blanton on Monday. As to TC's post that good teams are beating us and we're beating bad teams, that's not entirely true. We did sweep Minnesota, and if we beat STL on 7/23 we split the season series with them, as we did with Texas. That's fine. The Astros are a good team, and we went in their with like our 7th best starter, and a guy off of injury going against their ace. Its going to happen. A 6-3 road trip is still possible, then we come home and kick the Twins back to Canada.

But you know who worries me? Bluejays. At least Blanton and Guts aren't pitching against them if the rotation holds. Bluejays if they won their division could be a nightmare matchup for us IMO

I'm going Friday. $20 standing room only. It's the way to go. Then we head over to rivals, pak, and be merry. Sometimes my friend who's the McCormick rep comes with me and he can buy anything on the company cc as long as it's a McCormick product. Guess what you guys? There's a crap load of McCormick in there now, they just signed a big contract!

Have you tried 360 vodka, dork? There's all kinds of flavors and it's really good. Medium level free vodka > buying top shelve vodka at a royals game.

Makes sense due to the distillery is only an hour away. But the product sucks. Weston. MO is fun town though especially at Irish Fest.
