Welp, it was great to see us overtake the Chinese in totals medals and tie in Golds. Got 4 swimming golds up for grabs today, among others.
We should do really well in the team sports (bball, volleyball, soccer, etc.) and well in Track&Field. I believe the Chinese are generally garbage - unless their runners are roided up like that 15yo girl/man swimmer.
So, are we going to run away with this medal count or do the Chinamen have a lot of pingpong and karate in the second half of the games???
Anybody broken this down?
Well, M and W bball, almost guaranteed G's for USA.
W soccer, M and W volleyball, M and W beach volleyball looking great.
couple more swimming medal events today with team USA's strengths.
basically, all of the above are all but final golds for the stars and stripes, and events china is either out of or not a threat in. idk, i think china starts slowing way down now. Their highest yield of medals comes from swimming, diving, ping pong, and lifting. diving, ping pong, we can't compete. lifting, sry we don't dope
. and swimming, we're swimming laps around them for medal count. So i'd say things are looking up
